Terms of Service
The agreement governing your use of SiteVigilante.
Version 1.0 · in effect from 30 August 2026 · TEAMDIGITAL BV, Zaventem, Belgium
These Terms govern your use of SiteVigilante. By creating an account you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy and — where you use the service to process personal data about other people — the Data Processing Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and needs no separate signature.
1. Who you are contracting with
TEAMDIGITAL BV, Excelsiorlaan 10, 1930 Zaventem, Belgium, enterprise number 0759.548.701, VAT BE0759.548.701. Referred to below as "we" or "us". Contact: support@sitevigilante.com.
2. Who may use it — business customers only
SiteVigilante is offered to businesses and professionals only. By signing up you confirm you are doing so in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession, and not as a consumer. We do not admit consumers, and the consumer protections that would apply to a consumer contract — including a statutory withdrawal period — do not form part of this agreement.
You must be able to enter into this contract on behalf of the organisation you name, and you must be entitled to connect the websites you connect. You need the website owner's permission to install the SiteVigilante Agent on their site; we have no way to verify that and we rely on you for it.
3. What the service is
SiteVigilante is a platform for agencies that maintain WordPress websites. It:
- runs WordPress core, plugin and theme updates on the websites you connect, automatically or on your approval, and can restore the previous version of a plugin when an update makes a site unhealthy;
- watches whether a website is reachable and whether pages you nominate still work;
- runs security and integrity checks and reports what it finds;
- measures page performance;
- produces reports you can put your own branding on;
- explains a failed update in plain language when you ask it to.
The service is delivered through the SiteVigilante Agent, a plugin you install on each website you connect. You are responsible for installing it and for the websites you point it at.
3.1 What it explicitly does not do
We would rather be plain about this than have you discover it during an incident:
- SiteVigilante does not back up your clients' websites. There is no website backup product here, and nothing in the service should be relied on as one. Keep your own backups.
- It does not remove malware and it does not clean up a hacked website. Its security features detect and report; they do not remediate.
- It does not prevent a website being hacked, and no part of it is a guarantee against compromise.
- It is not a substitute for your own judgement about a website you are responsible for.
Where the product recommends an action, a person decides whether it happens. SiteVigilante does not take a destructive action on a website on its own initiative.
4. Trial
New accounts start on a 14 day trial. No card is required to begin. During the trial, you may connect websites subject to available platform capacity. You can add payment details at any point in the trial; doing so does not shorten the time you have left and authorises the subscription to begin automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel first. If there is no payment method at the end of the trial, paid functionality locks; websites are not disconnected and nothing is deleted for that reason.
5. Price and billing
- EUR 1.49 per month per website, flat at every volume. All features are included; there are no tiers, no volume ladder and no paid add-ons.
- All prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable.
- Billing is monthly, in advance, by subscription. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- Add or remove websites as your needs change, subject to available platform capacity. Your invoice is prorated, so you pay for the time each website was actually connected. Time you did not pay for is never credited to you and time you did pay for is not taken away.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it on its own schedule. If those retries are exhausted the subscription is cancelled — one clear ending rather than a subscription that runs unpaid indefinitely.
- An expired account keeps working in a reduced form: updates become manual rather than stopping. A billing problem does not take your clients' websites down.
6. Cancelling and deleting
You can cancel at any time, from inside the product. Cancellation stops future billing; we do not refund the portion of a period already run unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
You can also permanently delete your workspace. That cancels the subscription and then erases your data, as described in the Privacy Policy. It cannot be undone and we cannot restore it for you afterwards.
We may suspend or end an account that does not pay, that uses the service to attack or disrupt others, or that connects websites it has no right to connect. Where we can reasonably give notice first, we will.
7. Your responsibilities
- Keep your credentials safe. Two-factor authentication is available and we recommend it.
- Make sure you are allowed to connect each website and to act on it.
- Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
- Do not use the service to break the law or to interfere with anybody else's systems.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running and we do not promise a specific uptime percentage. There is no service level agreement in these Terms. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or because something upstream of us has failed.
9. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, for intentional fault, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Your data and your clients' data
You keep every right you have in the data you put into SiteVigilante. We use it to run the service for you and for nothing else. Where that data is personal data about other people, you are the controller and we are your processor: the Data Processing Agreement governs it and forms part of this contract.
11. Changes to these Terms
This is version 1.0, in effect from 30 August 2026. If we change these Terms materially we will publish the new version here with a new version number and tell account owners. The version you accepted is recorded against your account.
12. Law and courts
This agreement is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute goes before the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
